Role objective
Support the Financial Institutions and Corporate Finance Group's with business planning, financial management and analysis.
- Manage the global business planning workflow for the Financial Institutions and Corporate Finance Group.
- Co-ordinate preparation and submission of budgets, forecasts and input into strategic plans.
- Perform driver-based revenue analysis for intra-month, monthly and quarterly financial results.
- Perform all compensation administration and position management.
- Support the Managing Directors with insightful reports and commentary.
- Provide management and mentoring to Financial Analysts deliver on Business Planning objectives.
- Lead process improvements to increase the quality and timeliness of managerial information.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
- Professional qualification in accounting or finance.
- 5+ years of relevant financial experience with planning and analysis processes.
- Experience working with senior leaders on financial planning and/or reporting.
- Successful management or supervision of financial analysts.
Critical Skills and Attributes - Demonstrable depth of knowledge and interest in corporate finance and global financial markets.
- Working knowledge of corporate credit and financial institutions such as banks, insurers and funds is highly beneficial.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- High proficiency with Hyperion Planning and Essbase.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a desire to communicate with the line of business and regional business planning associates.
- Energetic, progressive approach to the role, and a willing participant in continual process enhancement.
- Provide strong leadership and drive business and finance management through all phases of the financial planning and analysis processes.
- Presents management with the recommendations for resolving key and complex issues.
