A dynamic VC firm with a strong record of international success is now hiring at Principal level to develop German dealflow & execution; the role is on a partner track

About our client
A proven early stage investor, now raising its 3rd fund, with a long track record and global reach.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to establish a sustainable presence in the Berlin market, raising the firm’s profile and dealflow
• Lead the screening and analysis of relevant opportunities; develop a compelling investment case and manage all due diligence workstreams; complete execution of legal and financing agreements
• Ongoing management of investments through expansion and future financing rounds, introducing new investors and other contacts as appropriate through to exit

Skills we’re looking for

• Top class education record
• Great interpersonal skills, able to connect with entrepreneurial founders and build long term relationships
• Previous experience in VC or PE firms highly favoured; also interested in relevant consulting or operational roles
• Self-starter, able to work remotely from top management; must be able to bring an existing substantial network for deal origination and ongoing value-add to portfolio
• An international outlook, able to work cross border effectively and link up global interested parties; fluent English essential; fluent German would be a significant advantage
