Our client is looking for an experienced professional to be part of the Global CVA/DVA Product Control team responsible for Financial, Product, and Valuation Control

Job Description
The team is responsible for calculating, analyzing and reporting the Counterparty and Own-Credit Valuation Adjustments for OTC Derivatives, as well as the Debt Valuation Adjustment (DVA) on portfolio of Structured Debt issuance. This position will work in partnership with global businesses to:




- Produce, analyze, and report the Global CVA/DVA

- Support the production of P&L

- Partner with Business, Risk, and Technology partners to continue to build out CVA/DVA platform and integration with Basel 3 strategy

- Verify the appropriateness of CVA/DVA and CVA hedge valuations



The position affords an opportunity to understand the full span of derivative exposures and debt issuances, to work closely with senior management in executing CVA/DVA strategy, to develop deep relationships across the firm, and to build a strong career platform within the firm. Derivative product exposure spans all sectors including equities, hybrids, rates, commodities, FX, credit, exotics, and structured products.



- Manage two separate teams responsible for supporting CVA Hedging desks and Structured Debt DVA.

- Work in a team environment to develop and report financial results, including reconciliation of CVA/DVA activity and identification/analysis of significant revenue drivers.

Desired qualifications include:

- Strong track record of academic and professional excellence and achievement.

- Bachelor's degree required. Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative (i.e. Engineering) degree preferred (masters a plus).

- 10 + years experience in finance, accounting, or risk (product control preferred).

- Deep knowledge of financial products, CVA/DVA, and associated credit derivative and fixed income product knowledge.

- Proven managerial skills.

- Strong Excel skills.

- Outstanding analytical and quantitative capabilities required including understanding of financial models.
