Regulatory/Dodd-Frank IT Project Manager for front office Rates IT Group. Global Investment Bank Fixed Income Technology is responsible for the development of all front, middle/back office applications/ systems used globally. Fixed Income products include Government Bonds, interest rate swaps, interest rate options, FRAs, caps, floors.

Senior Project Manager Regulatory Rates role:
Project Manager within the Rates Regulatory Technology space, individually accountable for small/medium streams and also to a Global head project manager for larger streams.
Must have previous experience with Regulatory/ Dodd- Frank  IT.
This role DOES NOT involve any programming or development.
The role will involve working with senior stakeholders across trading, technology, operations, legal, compliance.  The successful candidate will be expected to have a solid track record of delivery on similar sized projects and demonstrate a theoretical and applied understanding of best project management practices.
The candidate will be equally at ease discussing business and technical issues, and be able to contribute to finding solutions.
Main duties:
Within a matrix environment:

• Accountable for mid-sized projects
• Project manager larger sized projects
  • Assist stream owner with planning and solutioning where applicable
  • Track project and communication plan
  • Provide status and risks/issues update to senior business and infrastructure stakeholders
  • Maintain Risks/Issues log, escalation as appropriate
  • Ensure correct engagement from infrastructure partners and business heads
• Assist with monitoring budget and provide updates to programme manager
• Assist with providing overall structure to the programme
• Definition and delivery of a test strategy including the production of comprehensive test plans and test scripts 

Problem solving and ownership of issue resolution
Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree 
• extensive experience working within IT environments or working on IT projects
• investment banking experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest Rate Derivatives experience preferred but not essential
• Demonstrable experience in managing reasonably sized projects
• Analytical aptitude is essential
• Clear & concise verbal and written communication skills are a necessity
• Strong problem solving skills
• Attention to detail

Experienced in taking responsibility for investigating, finding solutions and closing issues

Compensation to 200K base plus annual bonus.
