is seeking an experienced Finance professional to partner with
assigned business area(s) and deliver strategic and tactical financial
management capabilities. You will lead all activities which support the
financial, accounting, and control related matters that impact business
decisions.

and tactical financial management capabilities. You will lead all
activities which support the financial, accounting, and control related
matters that impact business decisions. You will serve a key leadership
role by providing financial perspectives in the development of business
strategies, optimizing the Bank's resources, and delivering analytical
capabilities that influence decisions.
Responsibilities:
- A proactive partner that is seen as a trusted strategic member of the business line leadership team. You will report directly into the Business Line CFO, while also being accountable to business executives to deliver strategic value by working with business areas to determine their strategic and analytical needs;
· Have a strong understanding of business issues, requirements, drivers, and interdependencies. In particular, role will include active oversight into the Bank's benefit accounting by ensuring strong controls, analysis, and reporting;
- Partner closely with business leaders to define business requirements and make recommendations, deliver innovative ad-hoc analysis that allow leaders to evaluate alternatives and impacts that inform business decisions through a financial perspective at the business, Bank, and System levels;
- Direct and lead all aspects of business & financial analysis, accounting, and financial control related matters;
- Develop and implement practical ideas to enhance risk controls;
- Promote fiscal responsibility of Bank resources. Develops and implements ideas for reducing costs and increasing efficiencies leveraging process re-engineering principles. Must be able to develop, design, and execute leveraging industry best practice;
- Provide financial analysis that drives business decisions by providing transparency into investment alternatives, cost-benefit analysis, return on investment scenarios, SWOT, etc;
- Ensures compliance of financial and GAAP accounting policies and procedures by leveraging accounting policy team and ensures financial controls and fiscal discipline are being adhered to.
- Identifies and reviews key business risks and develops strategies to minimize financial risks; Collaborate and work across Business line CFOs and central finance to provide consistent communications, consistent application of programs and processes, and knowledge sharing across the business areas at the Bank; Collaborate to ensure processes and products are best in class;
· A
senior finance and accounting professional with a minimum of 10-15
years of experience in progressively responsible financial leadership
roles;
· Highly
proficient in finance, accounting, budgeting, and control principles,
including GAAP. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting
reporting systems;
· Demonstrated track record of leveraging your exceptional relationship skills.
· Proven abilities in promoting financial stewardship and creating a climate of risk control.
· A
high level of professional acumen based on insights and observations
drawn from experience as well as an intuitive and sound approach to
decision-making in an accurate and timely manner;
· Proven ability to present and implement creative solutions to wide range of complex business problems;
· Ability
to conduct analysis on a variety of financial and business related
issues and turn data into information that persuades and influences
decision-makers;
· Seasoned
leader who is effective at leading and facilitating organizational
change through continuous improvement, talent development, and
technology enablement;
· Demonstrated
outstanding relationship management skills including the ability to
build consensus among multiple stakeholders, influence and negotiate
effectively;

to motivate teams directly and indirectly to produce quality materials
within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects;
· Ability to participate and facilitate group meetings and influence those not under your direct authority;
· Demonstrated finance project management experience and ability to successfully handle multiple competing priorities;
· Exceptional presentation, written communication and interpersonal skills for a variety of audiences.
Education Required:
CPA, CFA, or CMA highly desirable and other relevant financial and accounting experience
