Responsibilities
Portfolio Responsibilities:
Review all new bookings for accuracy. Work with Documentation and Operations to correct any inaccuracies and identify/correct the root cause.
Review syndication activity pre- and post-booking to insure the accuracy of the calculations and system set-up.
To assist in the evaluation of near-term and long-term strategic plans that could result in syndications, divestitures, or acquisitions.
To provide assistance to Business Unit Leaders on how to improve performance and/or optimize overall financial performance of the business units.
To support syndications through gain analysis and calculation of indemnity reserves.
Ensure accurate updating of cost of funds on all renewals.
Assist with the renewal process and review the set-up post-booking.
Request buyout quotes and track the activity.
Perform system reconciliations as needed.
Assist with internal and external audits, as well as the audit confirmation process.
Systems Responsibilities:
Assist in the gathering and prioritization of system enhancements.
Assist in documenting system functional requirements for enhancements and future systems development.
Review and sign-off on testing results performed by the Process & Control Department.
Special projects as requested.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
Minimum of five years experience in a commercial finance or leasing environment
Must possess strong PC skills and be proficient with Excel
Must be knowledgeable of lease transaction structures and lease accounting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong operational background
Experience in business process design and workflow
Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills
Highly effective networking and relationship building skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple competing priorities
